Scope: Structural Facade Design

Client: Dobler Metallbau GmbH

The new office building for KPMG comprised a geometrically intense double facade on the envelope of the building. The outer facade is not parallel to the inner facade while the angle between the axis of each facade is varying over the height of the building. A meticulous optimization process was performed to minimize material cost while various types of inserts were utilized on different floors to achieve maximum utilization for the main profiles. Our scope included 10850m2 of unitized double curtain wall, 1000m2 unitized curtain wall and 1900m2 of stick systems, rainscreens and canopies.
